Next event:  Mateusz Sobieski  |  Sunday 3rd December, 1pm

For our December music event in the gallery, we're delighted to welcome Mateusz Sobieski to play amidst Eduard Bersudsky's marvellous mechanical sculptures. Mateusz is a Tenor Saxophonist born and raised in Poland and currently studying music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

His passion for improvised music found a welcoming home in Glasgow’s music scene where he could express himself in various styles including jazz, reggae, funk, blues and hip-hop. Sobieski's recently developing interest in contemporary audiovisual performances and experimental free improvisation ally him well to playing at Sharmanka!

The music will begin a little after 1pm and donations for the performers will be collected from audience members as they leave.

SHARMANKA will be CLOSED between and including:

24th December 2017  -  2nd January 2018

Last show 2017:   Saturday 23rd December at 3pm

First show 2018:   Wednesday 3rd January at 5pm
